Every family has a library. It walks and talks and makes the best coffee.

Somewhere right now, a teta is telling a story she has told fifty times — the village, the sea road, the wedding, the year everything changed. Everyone at the table knows it by heart. And one day, sooner than anyone admits, no one will be able to hear it again.

The Arab world's history lives out loud — in kitchens, on balconies, over cardamom coffee. Almost none of it is written down. When our generation scattered across the world, the stories stayed with the elders, waiting for someone with time to listen. Samir is that someone.

What Samir does

Samir is the world's first Arabic AI biographer. He talks with your parent or grandparent on WhatsApp — the app they already love — in their own dialect, one gentle voice note at a time, across ten sessions shaped around a life: childhood, the village, love, migration, faith, the hard years, and the messages they want their grandchildren to hear. Then their words become a beautifully written memoir in Arabic and your language, printed to be passed down, with every original voice note kept in a family archive forever.

Privacy like it's our own family.Recordings are never used to train AI, never shared, never sold. Deletable any time. See our privacy policy — it's written in plain language.

Cultural care.Built by and for our community — with respect for faith, dialect, and histories that are sometimes painful to tell. The Storyteller can always skip, pause, or say "not that story."

Finish-or-refund.If the interviews can't be completed, every dollar comes back. Our refund policy is one page and keeps its promises.

Samir is built by Betryx LLC, an American company — from Miami, with love — by children and grandchildren of the diaspora.
